Stand With Robby Robinson in His Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer
Update: Encouraging News from Robby
Robby recently received some encouraging news from his doctor. His latest test results showed his cancer levels dropping dramatically from 500 down to 25, something his doctor described as “incredible.”
While this progress gives Robby and all of us real hope, the fight is far from over. Robby is continuing treatment and still facing stage-4 cancer that has spread to his lungs and bones. The financial strain of medical care, rent, and daily living expenses remains very real while he focuses on treatment and recovery, especially as his employer is currently refusing to accommodate his work restrictions.
We are incredibly grateful for the support that has already come in, and we continue to stand with Robby as this fight continues.
Robby has spent decades standing up for his coworkers and fighting for dignity at work. Now our union brother is facing the fight of his life.
Original Post:
In April of 2025, Robby Robinson was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic colorectal cancer.
More recently, the cancer has spread to his lungs and his bones, deepening the challenge but not breaking his spirit.
If you know Robby, you know he is bold, outspoken, and fiercely committed to the people around him. For decades, he has served as a shop steward at his hotel, standing up for his coworkers and fighting for dignity on the job. He has never hesitated to speak up when something wasn’t right. He has spent years defending others.
Now it’s our turn to defend him.
Robby continues to pursue treatment with hope and determination. He remains positive, engaged, and focused on overcoming this diagnosis. But ongoing care, time away from work, and the basic necessities of daily life (rent, utilities, groceries) have created real strain during an already demanding fight.
This fundraiser is meant to ease that pressure so Robby can concentrate on treatment, recovery, and maintaining his strength.
Funds will go directly toward:
• Ongoing treatment and recovery support
• Living expenses during time away from work
• Transportation and related needs
For years, Robby has shown up when it mattered. Now it’s our turn to show up for him. Please consider donating or sharing this page.
Every contribution is a reminder that he is not facing this alone.
Thank you for standing with Robby.
