Our dear friend and "other mother" Karen Neu lost her husband Chris of nearly 30 years on Thursday. He died rather suddenly after an accident uncovered serious health conditions.

Karen is now facing a number of unexpected expenses and in lieu of sending flowers, we're instead setting up this page for those that would like to lend a hand during this very difficult time in Karen's life.

As very big hearted animal lovers, Karen and Chris have taken in six dogs - two of which need immediate medical care and the others need check-ups, routine vaccinations and a good grooming.

All contributions will go to cover expenses Karen incurs as she works to getback on her feet after this terrible, unexpected loss.
