Help Steve keep living his life!

Hi my name is Hollie, and I am fundraising for my brother, Steve. He grew up in Massillon, Oh and graduated from Massillon High School in 1989. He was a member of the U.S. armed forces where he served in the Army. Along the road he was also a police officer, a corrections officer, and did numerous types of work until he began working at Kovatch Castings in Uniontown, Oh., but his best most rewarding job is being a father to his 10 yr. old son. In 2011 Steve was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. It is a disease that has no exact cause and there is no cure. It can attack various parts of the body and has attacked his lungs which had caused severe damage. It is not caused from smoking, Steve has never smoked. In Sept. of this year he contracted Covid (he is vaccinated) and due to the damage in his lungs from the sarcoid he is having a tough time recovering. On Sept. 22, 2021 he was admitted to the hospital, where he is currently at until they can stabilize his breathing. In the meantime he is unable to obviously work and support his family. There's a great chance that once he is better work will no longer be an option He is the kind of guy to not ask for help, or air his business to the world (like I am currently doing). With any funds raised, the money will go to directly making sure his family has a roof over their head and bills are able to be paid. Once he is well enough to leave the hospital the money will assist with his ongoing living and medical expenses. I'm not expecting the amount I put to be the amount raised, but I would love to get close.
