Quynh Ngo, a beloved Pi Kappa Phi brother, passed away on September 1, 2021. A grandmaster in martial arts, anyone who met him was inspired by his energy, enthusiasm, and life spirit. He will be greatly missed by the brotherhood and all those he coached, trained, and inspired during his lifetime.
September 1st was a Wednesday. On Saturday, September 4th, Quynh’s daughter Becca married Danny Voss. It’s unimaginable the anguish that must have accompanied the decision to proceed with the wedding just three days after Quynh’s passing – they did. Becca graduated in 2020 from the University of Florida and was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

In memory of Quynh, we are raising funds in two-fold: First, we will either purchase a gift or send the funds to Becca and Danny with the first $1,000 raised as a token of our love for Quynh from the Pi Kappa Phi brotherhood; and second, we will fund a scholarship in Quynh’s name with the remaining funds. The scholarship funds will be turned over to the Chapter Investment Fund of the AE Housing Corporation for award to an active brother who embodies Quynh’s spirit (actual criteria for the award will be determined by the Housing Corporation).
The $1,000 goal is for a wedding gift for Quynh's daughter and newly wed husband; the additional $5,000+ will fund an annual scholarship in Quynh's name.

May God bless Quynh and his family and all those who grieve the loss of this beautiful man.
