Dear CVCS and SVCS family,
As you all know, our dearest Cori and her two children are grieving the devastating loss of Chris Bradley. Cori and her kids are experiencing the peace that he is with Jesus and out of such excruciating pain. Your prayers have definitely held Cori up. Sorrowfully, at this point, Cori has little money left for funeral expenses. Cathie (Temple) Bratton and I discussed this, and we'd love to present Cori with a financial gift to ease the burden of the medical and funeral expenses. In addition, Cathie has lovingly offered to provide tables, decor, water bottles, a few meaningful gifts and flowers for the "Celebration of Life." We would ask if you might consider contributing toward the cost. All funds will be used for memorial service expenses and we will then provide Cori with a check to help her cover all additional medical bills. Any amount will help, and I know Cori will be grateful to have a buffer, enabling her to meet her family's needs in this painful time.
As a side note, Cori mentioned that she would love to take her children on a road trip to the northern CA coast beaches, however she cannot afford such a trip right now. If you know someone who owns a beach cottage and would be willing to donate it to her and her children for a long weekend, that would be wonderful. You can contact us here or through Facebook.
