My daughter and her family experienced a loss today. A lithium battery exploded in her son’s bedroom and caused a fire. The room is a total loss and their home experienced a great deal of smoke damage. While they may be able to salvage some things, most of their belongings, including all of my grandson’s possessions, are a total loss. Insurance will cover some, but they will need help buying some new furnishings for their home.
