Hi, my name is Jun Hui, the producer of The High Priestess, our third-year short film. We are working towards raising $2500AUD, which will go to transport, catering, set dressing and ensuring that our non-student talents are paid appropriately.

Our project:

Ema, a 22-year-old tarot card reader, has faced judgement for her practice. People mistake her to be a witch and having the ability to hex others through her cards. Growing up, Ema was met with constant trials and tribulations, causing her to develop anxiety. The day she picked up her deck of tarot cards, she found herself on a path of clarity, giving her the strength to overcome her anxieties and live a purposeful life.

With your help, we will be able to create this film that aims to dispel misconceptions about the art of tarot card reading by showing how it has given Ema assurance, security and ease of anxiety in her daily life.
