Chase Richburg is one of those amazing, fun-loving guys whom you never forget. Chase is a Blinn College student who LOVES singing & songwriting. Chase's musical style comes from the likes of Waylon Jennings and old style country music. He's an avid hunter and fisherman, and of course Astros fan. Chase has an unbreakable bond with his mom, Crystal and younger brother Landen, who idolizes his big brother.Chase touches so many hearts with his generosity. He is always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.
On November 2, 2019, while helping pull a friends truck out of a ditch, they noticed another vehicle approaching quickly. Shane was able to make it to safety. Unfortunately, Chase was NOT so lucky.
As Chase was running to get out of the way, he was struck by the approaching vehicle sending him airborne! Upon landing, he sustained many injuries.
Chase Richburg had to be life flighted to Hermann Memorial, Houston, TX.
BOTH of Chase's legs are broken. The right leg has an open wound with wound vac. The right Tibia is broken in half. The right Fibula is broken, as well. The left leg has broken Tibia and crushed knee.
Also, Chase has broken ribs and an orbital fracture on the left side of his face.
Chase has already been undergoing surgeries with multiple more to come on his legs; including skin grafts. Along with the many surgeries required will also be rehabilitation and physical therapy. By the GRACE of GOD, Chase is Alive!
Chase does Not have any medical insurance. Please find it in your heart to donate toward the medical expenses that are rapidly accruing for this fine, young man.
