Troubled souls dont always start life as troubled ❤
Freddie was an energetic, smart as a whip child who loved deeply. He was the only one of his siblings to graduate high school. Somewhere along the line in his adult years, he lost himself. He tried so hard to stay clean for his beautiful daughters that he loved SO much, but addiction is a strong beast. Once it takes hold it is difficult to break the cycle. When he had the unfortunate circumstances of being incarcerated, it was the only time that he actually was able to stay sober recently and we truly saw the old Freddie, who loved so deeply and cherished his loved ones so much. The last letters we received from him before he was released were truly heartwarming, and we thought he would be able to beat this beast we all know as addiction.
On October 19th, 2019, Freddie lost his battle with addiction.
Today we remember Freddie as his happy, smart, and loving self. For all his faults and rock bottom moments, we remember the good times when he was so strong and had so much love to give.
Unfortunately we are unable to afford services so we are reaching out in an attempt to give him the services and goodbye he deserves ❤
If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, please do not be afraid to seek help. You matter, those struggling matter. Getting the help needed will prevent one more tragedy in your or your loved ones lives
