"The Suite from the Deep"

"The Suite from the Deep" is a series of songs that I have written since my first album release. The experience of working with the legendary Kim Person really opened my mind to the possibilities of quality, electrified-acoustic music. We dove down a path of exploration and creation that led to a really unique sound! With all these new composing elements at hand, I have started to create some very excited new music that I would like to bring to the public!
What is the mission?
-Record the music properly with Kim Person at Cimirron Records
-Produce a CD with a coloring book inside! (details below)
-Shoot music videos inside The Virginia Aquarium
-Have T-shirts printed for "The King of the Cephalopods"
The Songs
It started with a documentary titled "Chasing Coral" on Netflix. This opened my eyes to the massive bleaching of the Reefs worldwide, but it mainly focused on the death of The Great Barrier Reef. I was so moved by this that I felt I needed to write a tune to help bring awareness to others. The album will start with this tune titled "The Great Bleached Reef", followed by several others inspired from the oceans depths.
The Artwork!
Part of every great album over time is the artwork. I have been working for over half a year with Sean De Burca to bring these themes to life, and I am so excited for you to see them! The idea is that we will have a CD with themes from the songs inside the fold out booklet that you will be able to color yourself! With CDs dying out, I am trying to find a way for my listeners and fans to connect even further with the music and imagery I have created. Along with a CD/coloring book, we have come up with a REALLY cool t-shirt design! Part of the funds will go to having these screen printed.
The Videos
Once the songs have been recorded, I would like to rent out The Virginia Aquarium to get some videos produced with representing imagery! The have a beautiful tunnel that would work quite well for a video that everyone will enjoy, oh.. and by the way, they have an Octopus! ;-)
What Your Help Will Do
As a struggling solo acoustic musician, I am only able to afford small portions of what is needed to do this project properly. With your help, we can bring to life a wonderful project that will hopefully inspire humanity to be more aware of their environment and surroundings. With that being said, I would like this to be printed on a Zero-carbon footprint product which is unfortunately more expensive.
What I will do for you!
Everyone that contributes towards this will get their name in the credits of the album. Also, those who donate $40 or more will get both the T-shirt and the album sent once they are completed.
