Hi all,
I’m leading an initiative to provide support to a co-worker/friend and her family.
I’m currently being treated for breast cancer and it is tough. I am lucky enough to have amazing friends, family and work friends to provide me support, strength, determination and a positive mindset. It will help get me through.
I want to help to make a difference to Tracy Hulston and her 12 year old son Benjamin. Tracy is an employee of GT and works in Partner Affairs Section. Tracy’s husband Paul recently died from bowel cancer. Paul was diagnosed about 3 months ago and had faced many challenges. The Hulston's migrated to Australia from England approximately 5 years ago so even though they have made some great friends all their family is back in England.
Paul never gave up his fight despite the many challenges and passed away last Thursday. Tracy shared this post on Facebook “Hi all, Paul passed away at around 23.45 pm Thursday 08 October. Ben and I and his family are heart broken. For those who knew he had a tough ride but kept coming back for more. Love and miss him already xxx “
I’ve created a GoFundMe Page to help the Hulston's. All money raised will help Tracy and Ben during this most difficult, sad, challenging time of their lives. I understand we all have own bills and expenses however stop and take a minute and think about how you would feel if you were in this situation and how much you would appreciate it if someone contributed to something like this for you.
Tracy is aware of what I’m doing and has told me the money will be very helpful in this different and trying time for her and Ben. Please feel free to pass this information to anyone who would may know the Hulston’s and would like to contribute.
