"THE BIG BAD C-WORD & HEART FAILURE"

Donation protected
On August 16th, I slipped at work and went to the E.R. The DR on-call told me that I needed to see a Urologist as soon as possible. If it wasn't for this "accident" I may have never known I had an issue.

I was scheduled to see a Urologist on October 12th and was told that I needed to have a TURBT on the 18th. This really came to a shock and opened my eyes.

As of October 29th, I've been advised that I have "Bladder Cancer." I will have a second TURBT on November 15th, chemotherapy through an Oncologist &
eventually have my bladder removed.

The night after my 2nd surgery, my fiance fell on her chest. We waited to go to St. Luke's  E.R. until Monday November 19th. While waiting, I started feeling really sick. I had a "massive heart attack" in the E.R. Talk about being at the right place at the right time! Followed by Toledo Hospital for stabilization then onto University Hospitals of Cleveland where I soon recovered enough to go home.

I am only 45 years old and to hear this news and to have this happen along with my 43 year old fiance' has been beyond any words that I can even try to explain! We had plans to be married next summer and possibly having a baby...

I'm aware that Life can change and throw many hiccups at you and has for several people. It's just not what I wanted to hear or happen to me at this time in my life.

We are everyday working people, sometimes I don't even get "correctly paid" and my fiancé has lost her position and is looking fervently! Now on short-term-disability at $80/per week after child support, medical and taxes is at poverty level...  Medical bills along with regular bills are nearly impossible to pay when we can hardly even pay to just survive.

This is just the beginning of my Journey with the Big C-Word & Heart Failure however I do have high hopes and prayers in God that all will be ok and will work out!

We do understand more than anyone how hard it is to struggle to live from paycheck to paycheck and to be out-of-work for any amount of time.  We do appreciate anything that you can afford to help us as soon as you are able.  Any amount is helpful and can make a huge difference in our situation!

Thank you!

God Bless you and yours...
