"Momo" Clemus Perkins Hurricane Laura Recovery

Donation protected
Wednesday August 27, 2020 Hurricane Laura hit Lake Charles with 137 mph sustained winds.  The area is devastated with broken trees, downed power lines and loss of electricity and water.  My 96 year old grandmother was safely in Houston, but her house took severe damage.  The roofing is missing and it is raining inside now.  Her ceiling has fallen as shown in the picture, but what can't be seen is the joists taking on water and warping.  It has been raining seemingly non stop after the hurricane, but her house will be a disaster with water and mold.
This has been home for Momo for over 70 years, but will need money for repairs.  Unfortunately she has no insurance; therefore, will have to rely on the grace of God and the goodness of family, friends and allies.  If you see fit to donate, any amount will be helpful.  Thank you for you kindness.

PS.  I am her grandson and she is safely in Houston with me.   I will manage the funds for her and every cent will be spent on managing her living and repairing her house.
