"Mighty Mick" for Michael Barbetta

Eight year old Michael “Mick” Barbetta was diagnosed with Leukemia on November 10, 2019. He has been fighting his illness bravely with the love and support of his family, friends, and community. Mick has spent several months in the hospital at Tufts Medical Center- Floating Hospital for Children in Boston receiving rounds of chemotherapy treatment. On February 12th, 2020 he received a bone marrow transplant which will hopefully send him into recovery! Mick has tolerated this transplant well and has been gaining in strength and appetite day by day. His amazing doctors and nurses at Tufts Floating have been impressed with his fight! Mick is scheduled to go home March 11th, only the second time since November! Although Mick and his family are thrilled he is out of the hospital, his journey to recovery is still a long one. Any amount of support is greatly appreciated by Mick and his family. Mighty Mick is going to beat this!
