GLENDA NEEDS A STAIR LIFT
Donation protected
Glenda is my amazing mom! Every day she inspires me to overcome obstacles and live life to the fullest. Her adventurous soul has taken her all around the globe - here she is in 2009 kayaking and climbing in Alaska.

In 2010 she had a severe stroke. The stroke left her without the use of her right arm and lower right leg. She had to relearn how to speak, how to walk, and how to do everyday tasks with one hand. Despite her new disabilities, Glenda worked her butt off to regain her independence.

She rose to every challenge and even got her driver’s license!
For almost a decade now, my mom has been thriving with her disabilities. She takes every opportunity to stay active. Here she is post-stroke still kayaking, biking, and even surfing!

Unfortunately, she recently had a bad fall and broke her patella. She is currently recovering from surgery at the Murrieta Health & Rehabilitation Center. Because of her existing disabilities, recovery is going to be a long road and we are realizing that a simple fall can be a huge set-back.
Glenda’s house is two stories with all the bedrooms and showers upstairs. But because she has such amazing neighbors and has built a life within her community, we all want her to stay in her home. A stair-lift would allow my mom to safely recover from her injury and keep her living independently for years to come.
Medicare does not cover home modifications and the high price of a stair-lift is a big hit to my mom’s finances. Please donate whatever you can to help us pay it off. I don’t want my mom to stress about making ends meet while she needs to be focused on healing. Every little bit helps and we appreciate every donation! Thank you all for your love and support!
