August 18, 2020 was a day that would change the life of Johnny Cuillo, and all who love him.
Sadly, cancer has once again reared its ugly head into the life of someone we know and love. 
Johnny was diagnosed with throat cancer approximately 9 weeks ago. Since that time, Johnny has had one obstacle after another to overcome in order to be able to start his treatment which would encompass 7 weeks of radiation and then chemotherapy. 

To date Johnny has not been able to start treatment due to a number of obstacles, and has had to have a tracheotomy which resulted in having  a feeding tube as well.

Johnny is currently being cared for at the home of his dear lifelong friend Dave (Pooley) but hopes to be able to return home in the very near future. 

Johnny retired 4 years ago from the Lockport City Street Department where he was well known and loved.

People often describe someone as being generous, Johnny is the epitome of generosity. Johnny will give you the shirt off his back any day of the week even now when he needs it the most.

Johnny is a fierce protector of those he loves. If he ever thought someone was bullying you, he would not hesitate to stand in between you and them. I have experienced Johnny's generous spirit and loving protection first hand in the many years I've been blessed to know him. 

It is now our time to return the favor of generosity and protection back to Johnny "JOCKO" for all he gave to  us over the years, we'd like to return in some small way and try to alleviate the financial strain he is already feeling.
