As you know my wife and I have shared that Crystal has developed stage IV metastatic breast cancer after her battle through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. As we both are passing our 60 year-old mark in life, we should have been prepared to take care of expenses that comes along with terminal illness but sadly we have not. We are blessed to live in Canada where our health care expenses are mostly taken care of but some of the medications Crystal needs to survive have a very large co-pay amount attached. I have not been able to secure meaningful fulltime work in Alberta for a long time now. I am going to take a bold move and ask for support seeing Crystal through the few years the medical community has said it will take for this type of cancer to destroy the body. I will be honest that along with making our house more user friendly with things like a separate hospital bed for my wife, I will probably take a small amount of time away from work to make short trips to visit family and friends while we still can. Go fund me might be a breakthrough to assist us in doing these things. Please do not feel pressured in giving it is a choice never an obligation. I will be reporting our journey along the way as you know I love making short video clips and putting music with photos. We want to live life to its fullest through each and every day we have left together. If possible please help us with some of our many expenses we will encounter along the way.
