I'm Brendan Babinski, a freelance director of photography in Brooklyn, New York. I am producing and shooting a 7-minute drama titled "Family Ties." The leads will be played by Josh P Weinstein (ABC's "One Life to Live") and Dion Costelloe (HBO's "The Deuce").

The nuances of the intense yet subtle interpersonal dynamic of a family are laid out in this thrilling, yet grounded film. To properly convert this from page to screen, the appropriate lighting and lensing equipment is needed, along with sound and props.
Why do we need support?
Due to COVID-19, I am currently unemployed and unable to make a living performing my craft. This makes it difficult to fund the work that will strengthen my portfolio, in turn making it even harder to secure future opportunities.
A contribution to this film would not only employ a film crew at a time when they need the work the most; it would allow us to fulfill one of our deepest needs as humans - the need to express ourselves through our art. Unfortunately this won't be possible without contributors stepping in. Those contributions would mean the world to us!
