"Bucky" for Life

Our youngest brother, Tom Kupfer (commonly referred to as "Bucky") was diagnosed with colon cancer in August of 2016.  Tom went through an operation to remove the cancer, only to find out that the cancer had already spread to his liver.  Although it started as a very small lesion, over time, it grew.  Most recently, March of 2019, Bucky learned that the cancer had also spread to his brain from the once-small lesion in his liver. 
Tom again underwent surgery in Wausau, WI  this time to remove the tumor from his brain. The successful surgery was followed by radiation treatments to ensure that all of the cancer cells were eradicated.  The most recent MRI taken on his liver showed the remaining tumor to be about 10 cm long. Bucky will undergo chemotherapy to shrink, and hopefully destroy, any remaining cancer cells. 
Bucky's insurance will only pay for a small portion of the treatments. Therefore, Tom is asking for your contributions to help pay for medical bills.  The Kupfer Family would like to thank all of you for your generosity and support as Bucky, once again, begins his journey to recovery.
