It's with deep sadness that I have to start this request.
Anybody who knows me, realizes this is very hard for me. I have always helped people, NEVER asked for help. It's my nature as a an RN in the ER for years.
My best friend, my life, my husband has been sick for 2 years. The time has come, where he can longer function very well. He sleeps 20 hours a day and has no enegry.
He has Chronic Pancreatic Insuffiency and is basically starving to death no matter what he eats or drinks. I have watched this beautiful soul deterioate right before my eyes. He is 6"2 and weighs 135 pounds now. Literally a skeleton.
I have exhausted all of my resources, and my PTO is gone being on FMLA for the past 9 months. Dwights medications cost a little over $1200 a month, thats with insurance just to keep going, which is not much longer. I have applied for leave at work and will have no income to care for my husband and maintain my household. Now I will have a Cobra payment to keep his medical Insurance. I have applied for Hospice to make sure he is comfortable. He is in so much pain all of the time.
I need help, serious help. I cannot do this alone. I need donations from anyone who can help me. I wish I could promise to pay it all back but that is not realistic.
Please pray for my Dwight, and please find it in your heart to help us through these next few months we have together.
