Last night (January 14th) around 9 p.m. The lives of Seth and Teria Agee along with their children Lauren, Lexi along with their newborn Seth Jr were changed in an instant. The apartment next to theirs went up in flames. (Link below) They found themselves trapped in the apartment, with seemingly no way to escape. Luckily they had the ability to stay calm and bust thru the wall to make their escape. They may have escaped with their lives, but poor Seth Jr had to be taken to the Children’s Hospital. Thankfully he will be alright.
Now that that horrible night is over, reality of the situation will hit. They lost Everything in the fire. And on top of that, there will be the medical bills that they will now have to find a way to cover.
Seth and Teria are good people that have never asked for anything, but have had no problem giving what they can to help others. Now is the time that we can give back to a family that brings joy to others with no regard for themselves.
For those of us that are parents, you know how much even the necessities of caring for a baby can cost. And now they will have to start all over again. Clothes, bottles, diapers alone will be hard to cover. Then we have the girls. They will have to find a way to dress them and feed them.
Close your eyes and think what your life with be like with nothing. People only think about the big items, the beds, clothes appliances and other large items. But remember this also means No toothbrush, medicines, shampoos, soaps and other small items that we use every day. Even these small items can add up when you have to replace them.
Daily life can be a struggle sometimes, and having situations like this thrown on top can make it rougher. But we have a chance to help lift some of that burden. Every little bit can help try to bring a sense of normalcy back to a family that was forced from their home and had everything they own taken from them thru no fault of their own.
Thank you for any help you can give.
