Quito, Ecuador Summer 2019

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page! As many of you may already know, I am currently studying Speech Pathology and Audiology at Western Michigan University. Along with this, I have decided to pursue a Spanish minor in hopes of becoming a fluent Spanish speaker. I am looking forward to my future of working in an elementary school as a speech pathologist with the added advantage of a second language in my tool box! With this minor, I have been given the opportunity to study abroad in Quito, Ecuador this summer!! During my seven weeks there, I will be living with a host family while taking two classes that will help me earn my minor at the nearby university, Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Aside from the classes, I will also be able to do some sight seeing and be trying to absorb as much of the local culture as I possibly can. I am so thankful to have found this opportunity. However, while this trip will be incredible and rewarding in so many ways, I will need help with the funding. Any little amount you are able to donate helps a ton! This trip will not be possible without donations from my loving family, relatives, friends, family friends, and anyone else who is so gracious to contribute to my passion of studying in Ecuador this summer.
