Soy Elena Maritza Velásquez Maldonado, venezolana, 70 años de edad, de profesión ingeniera química, pensionada. Desde el año 2021 lucho contra el cáncer de recto con sus metástasis en el hígado.

Después de estar sana, paso a paso, y en control oncológico trimestral, presento una recaída, causada por el conteo bajo de mi Sistema Inmunológico, (glóbulos blancos en 3300 unidades, el normal está entre 5000-10000 unidades) y como tratamiento médico se me propone Inmunoterapia, y así favorecer mi sistema inmunológico, y éste destruya el cáncer como en muchos pacientes con el mismo cuadro que yo.

A continuación, resumo los tratamientos recibidos hasta ahora y el próximo a recibir a fin de seguir luchando por mi salud.

1. En el primer tratamiento, quimioterapia endovenosa, quimioterapia oral simultanea con 36 sesiones de radiación a 360 grados, 15 minutos, desde julio a diciembre 2021. Con este tratamiento desaparecieron el tumor primario en el recto, y se minimizaron dos manchas grises de metástasis en el hígado.

2. En el segundo tratamiento se practicaron dos cirugías radiológicas (tres sesiones estereotáxicas) en los lugares donde había manchas grises en el hígado en febrero 2022 y septiembre 2023, respectivamente.

3. En el tercer tratamiento se extrae quirúrgicamente otro tumor entre las costillas séptima y octava con reemplazo de maya de polietileno como protección de los pulmones, abril 2024, y posterior radiación estereotáxica en 5 sesiones para erradicar micro cáncer en mayo 2024.

4. EN ESPERA DE UN CUARTO TRATAMIENTO, por aparición de nueva lesión en el mismo lugar donde se había realizado la primera cirugía estereotáxica en febrero 2022. En vista de que mi Sistema Inmunológico (SI), con glóbulos blancos en 3.3 x10¨3/uL, inferior a lo normal (5.0-10.0) x10¨3/uL, posible causa de recaída del cáncer ya curado, se me propone la aplicación de Inmunoterapia (IM), plataforma genómica Sentys Discovery en muestra líquida a través del Laboratorio South Genetics, a confirmar diagnóstico y posibles dianas terapéuticas.

Con este cuarto tratamiento se espera levantar mi Sistema Inmunológico y así sanarme desde dentro de la célula hacia afuera, destruyendo cualquier célula patógena, como se evidencia en otros pacientes, con casos similares al mío con un SI debilitado por los tratamientos tradicionales, y lograron sanarse desde hace años del cáncer con un SI fortalecido y normal.

En estos cuatro años de tratamiento se han minimizados los recursos financieros, por lo que acudo a su buena voluntad a ayudarme a financiar mi cuarto tratamiento con Inmunoterapia, (IM).

El inicio de esta etapa comienza con la toma de muestra y el respectivo análisis genético, ADN, mutaciones, y mi propio sistema inmunológico a fin de determinar los medicamentos compatibles con mi sangre, como resultado final, que garanticen el mejoramiento de mi sistema inmunológico.

El protocolo de tratamiento será cada 21 días, vía endovenosa con 12 sesiones, aproximadamente, hasta que se fortalezca y mantenga mi sistema inmunológico.

AAA… Hasta ahora la recaudación de USD 1710 corresponde a invitación de mi campaña a familiares y amigos fuera de Venezuela, quienes, amablemente difundan la campaña a sus amigos y contactos en todos los países.

Adicionalmente, me gustaría enviar a instituciones que ayudan a los enfermos de cáncer y no sé cómo hacerlo.

BBB….El protocolo de la Inmunoterapia incluye la realización de un estudio sanguíneo Inmuno-genético, a cargo del Laboratorio “SOUTH GENETICS”, a ser analizada en las sedes de Nueva York, Bruselas o Hong-Kong. Esta Estudio tiene un valor de USD 4300.

Con los resultados de éste estudio, el equipo médico tratante determinará el esquema de Inmunoterapia correspondiente a mi patología oncológica específica, la cual se administrará en 12 ciclos a intervalo cada 21 días. El precio de estos medicamentos en Venezuela varía entre USD 876- 4.900, cada una. Se colocarán en la Unidad de Oncología Médica ASURVE, Clínica la Floresta, Caracas -Venezuela. La cotización definiva del costo del tratamiento, se me entregará una vez obtenido el resultado del estudio anteriormente referido.

Con esta base, el costo total del tratamiento, estaría entre USD 10.518.72 - 58.800, sin contar los costos de honorarios profesionales y procedimientos necesarios, lo que pudiese aumentar USD 6.000, aproximadamente.

CCC…Con los recursos recaudados se pagará a las farmacias especializadas en importar los medicamentos y se pagarán los honorarios y procedimientos a la Clínica ASURVE cada vez que se coloque el tratamiento, alrededor de USD 500 cada ciclo de inmunoterapia.

My name is Elena Maritza Velásquez Maldonado, a 70-year-old Venezuelan woman, retired as chemical engineer. Since 2021, I have been battling rectal cancer with its spread to my liver.

After recovering, step by step, and undergoing quarterly oncology checkups, I experienced a relapse due to a low immune system count (white blood cell count of 3,300 units, a normal range of 5,000-10,000 units). I was proposed immunotherapy as a medical treatment to boost my immune system and help it destroy the cancer, as it does in many patients with the same condition as me.

Below, I summarize the treatments I have received so far and the next one I will receive in order to continue fighting for my health.

1. The first treatment included intravenous chemotherapy, simultaneous oral chemotherapy, and 36 sessions of 15-minute, 360-degree radiation, from July to December 2021. This treatment eliminated the primary tumor in the rectum and minimized two gray spots of metastasis in the liver.

2. The second treatment included two radiological surgeries (three stereotactic sessions) in the areas where the gray spots had appeared in the liver, in February 2022 and September 2023, respectively.

3. The third treatment involved surgical removal of another tumor between the seventh and eighth ribs, with polyethylene mesh replacement to protect the lungs, in April 2024. Subsequent stereotactic radiation was performed in five sessions to eradicate the microcancer in May 2024.

4. WAITING FOR A FOURTH TREATMENT, due to the appearance of a new lesion in the same place where the first stereotactic surgery had been performed in February 2022. Given that my Immune System (IS), with white blood cells at 3.3 x10¨3 / uL, lower than normal (5.0-10.0) x10¨3 / uL, a possible cause of relapse of the already cured cancer, I am proposed the application of Immunotherapy (IM), Sentys Discovery genomic platform in a liquid sample through the South Genetics Laboratory, to confirm the diagnosis and possible therapeutic targets.

With this fourth treatment, we hope to boost my immune system and heal me from the inside out, destroying any pathogenic cells. This is evidenced by other patients with similar cases to mine, whose immune system has been weakened by traditional treatments. They have been able to heal their cancer for years, achieving a strengthened and normal immune system.

In these four years of treatment, my financial resources have been limited, so I am asking you to help me finance my fourth Immunotherapy (IM) treatment.

The start of this stage begins with sample collection and the respective genetic analysis of my DNA, mutations, and immune system. This analysis will determine which medications are compatible with my blood and ultimately guarantee the improvement of my immune system.

Additional Information

AAA… So far, the $1,710 raised has been due to my campaign's invitation to family and friends outside of Venezuela. Please spread the word about the campaign to your friends and contacts in all countries.
