Quinton Gallon First Step to Tokyo

Hi everyone, I am Quinton, I'm 19 years old and I am working to become an Olympic sailor. I currently sail the Men's Heavy Weight Olympic dinghy, the Finn. It is a very physically and mentally challenging boat to sail at a competitive level.  After 4 years in the Finn class and 11 years of racing experience, I have decided to take my sailing to a world cup level and compete against some of the best sailors in the world. My goal is to represent Canada in the Finn class at the Olympic games in Tokyo 2020. My results from this past season have shown that I can compete at the top level. This past year I won the U23 position at the Finn North American Championships and placed 5th overall at Cork Olympic Class Regatta in Kingston against the top 2 Canadian boats.  Although I do not have a coach or formal program I am already ranked 97th globally in the Finn Class. With your help I can get the coaching I need and compete at Miami World Sailing Cup in January.
