When a door closes, a window opens. This is the phrase that’s going with us since the moment we realized we need to bid Tantua goodbye.

Tantura was born 10 years ago, and with time became a home. A huge living room with an open table, that hosted countless people, stories, laughter, hugs, and so many heart touching moments.

First thing first, we want to say thank you. Thank you to all those who believed in our dream, to our guests and friends, to those who worked with us. To anyone who supported us.

During the past three years, with the war and the alarming rise in anti-Semitism in the world, we found ourselves facing a hard and painful reality: graffiti smeared on the restaurant walls, blackening its good name online, hostile campaigns and a full-on boycott. Bit by bit, the place that was supposed to be a space for connection and joy, became an arena of daily struggle.

The decision to close Tantura is among the hardest we had to make. So we chose to gather inwards. Search for peace and quiet. And create a new place. New Home. We’re rebuilding an old Quinta with a lot of charm. And you know us - when we detect charm we polish it with love.

Closing Tantura is not only emotional, it’s also an economic shock. In order to build our new home, we need help. For a chance to start again peacefully, without stress and rush, so we won’t need to give up on our values. We invite you to be a part of building the new home.
