Support Kristin & Mike: Quinny's Cancer Battle

Hi everyone, this is Abby, one of Kristin's little sisters. With great sorrow, I am starting this GoFund Me to help support my sister and brother in-law. This week has been the worst week of our family's lives. Quinny was taken to the ER on Tuesday. He was having a long lasting black eye but no other symptoms at the time. They did CT scans and a MRI and yesterday they confirmed the diagnosis of Stage 4 Metastatic Neuroblastoma (Pediatric Cancer). He has already begin chemo and a couple procedures. Kristin and Mike have been at the hospital this whole time. As you could imagine, this week has been devastating and an utter shock to everyone. Although this news has been heartbreaking, we know Quinny is a strong little fighter. Even during his first treatment of Chemo, he was playing his guitar and smiling. We appreciate everyone's compassion and help during this week. We know the road ahead will be tough and the financial burden will also be hard. If you would like to donate to Kristin & Mike, they would be so thankful! There are so many changes happening at once. They could use this money for the medical bills, supplement income as they will not be able to work nearly as much, transition from daycare to a nanny to keep Quinny safe from infection, groceries, gas and cleaning, etc.

As this is hard for Kristin, Mike, and Quinny, this is also hard for Dylan. He is only three so we have been trying to explain and help him in this transition. He has a little stuffed animal that has a PICC line just like Quinny, and he will not let it out of his sight.

I will try to keep you updated on the process as I know many of you care deeply for them.
