My name is Quinn, and I’m a transmasc non-binary person living in the UK. I’m reaching out with humility and hope to ask for support from this incredible community as I take the next steps in my transition journey.

In January 2022 I had top surgery — a life-changing and affirming experience that has brought me closer to feeling at home in my own skin. Now, I’m preparing to begin hormone replacement therapy (HRT), which is another vital part of aligning my body with who I truly am.

Unfortunately, accessing gender-affirming care in the UK is becoming more difficult by the day. With growing restrictions, longer wait times, and increasing hostility toward trans people, I’ve had to look into private options — and those don’t come cheap.

HRT treatment and prescriptions

Travel costs to appointments

Doses and necessary medical supplies

I’m doing everything I can to make this happen on my own, but I’ve hit a financial wall — and I’m asking for help not because I want to, but because I have to. Every contribution, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated and gets me one step closer to feeling safe and whole in my body.
