My name is Quinn Wrigley and, on July 18, 2017, I will have the opportunity to travel with my church (Charity Lutheran Church) on a missions trip to Antigua, Guatemala.The people of Guatemala are in need of our help. 
     Throughout the trip we will be working at the children’s malnutrition center, clothing and food distribution center, a local orphanage, and homeless shelters. I am especially looking forward to helping to build seven concrete homes.
     Our youth group and leaders are blessed by the opportunity to accept God’s call and do His work on behalf of children and families in so much need. That is the beauty of the missions work made possible by “God’s Child Project.” The God’s Child Project strives to help poor families across the world. As we head into this life changing experience, we humbly ask that you pray for a successful and safe spiritual journey for our group.
     Each member of our group has been working hard to raise the financial support necessary to pay for travel and associated expenses that will make this Christian youth mission possible. We’ve held bake sales, fundraising dinners, and other fundraisers within our community. We have made great progress toward the needed funds, but there is still a ways to go, so I am writing to prayerfully ask for your financial support of our mission. Any financial gift that you are able to share will help ensure that our youth group is able to carry out God’s call to aid those so deeply in need.
