Hi

My name is Gail. I am raising money for a very special person in my life. Last December I called my best friend, Shelli. She said she couldn't talk because her son, Quinn, was in the ER with back pain. This is where Quinn's journey began. This back pain turned into a Leukemia diagnosis in January. He left his freshman year at Lincoln to start chemotherapy and endured 35 days in the hospital. Within 2 weeks of getting home, he wasn't able to walk and ended up back in the hospital. He had a rare reaction to methotrexate and it caused toxic myelopathy. The rest of Quinn's original treatment had to be put on hold for fear of causing more neurological issues.

In July they went up to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and decided to move forward with a bone marrow transplant. They were very fortunate that Quinn's sister, Haley, was a partial match and can be his donor.

Next week they head up to Mayo for three to four months. His transplant is on November 5th. I am wanting to raise this money for Quinn to help with all of the lodging and meals up in Rochester and also help Quinn get back on his feet once his journey is complete and he is healed!
