My dear friend and co worker, Quinn, just moved into her new rental home two days ago. She moved into with her two children, her mother and her step dad who has disabilities. They were 99% moved in when they woke up this morning to a fire in one of the bathrooms. The kids bedrooms got the majority of the damage and the home is inhabitable for a few months. Fortunately, their old home is available for them to move back into until the damage in the new home is clear. The kids have only had two days at their new school which luckily the bus is able to transport them to and from their old home a town away. My friend was planning on setting up renters insurance this week but they won’t cover any of the fire damage because it was not set up yet. The old home that they have moved back into had constant flooding issues along with many other problems which was the reason for them to move out. They’ve also been dealing with other private and personal mishaps for the last 14 months, so it hasn’t been easy for some time. All in all, this family needs some help and any little bit will matter! She has always paid it forward, to me included, so I would like to see a community pay it forward to her and her family. Thank you for your support.
