Hello beloveds!

With excitement and many butterflies inside me, I’m happy to share that I will be receiving a life changing gender affirming facial surgery on May 28th, 2026. This feels like a long time coming and, simultaneously, very sudden! As the date approaches, I am emotionally and financially preparing for this huge milestone.

I am very fortunate to have this surgery fully covered by my insurance. We <3 Amida Care! I am seeking community support to help cover the basic costs of recovery and alleviate the financial burden of taking a month away from my freelance work. It is not in my nature to ask for help, and I know many of us are struggling at this time. Please support only if you have spaciousness to do so! Any surplus funds will be donated to the Iowa Trans Mutual Aid Fund to help support transgender people living in my home state, which is stripping trans rights away before our eyes.

Preparing for surgery feels daunting, but I feel incredibly hopeful and grateful for the wonderful people who make up my world! To all those who contribute or provide care in this process, I am truly grateful for your generosity and support. Thank you so much for being here xx
