Hello everyone,
We are reaching out to all who are willing to help an amazing couple. A couple that would not want us to do this. They are strong and independent people who are always willing to lend a hand to help others but don’t ask for help themselves.
A couple of weeks ago, Sam went into the hospital for back pain he had been experiencing for weeks. He went through many tests and a biopsy to learn that he had Lymphoma. This devastating news has turned their world upside down. Now they have a battle to fight, one that we are all too aware of, the battle to fight cancer.
Like most of us, their health insurance will cover some of the expenses, but this will be a long battle that will affect our friends on so many levels. Sam’s job is being very supportive but he will need to take time off for treatments. Val is a small business owner that has already been impacted due to the Covid 19 crisis and is very involved in the community.
Please help us raise money for this unexpected journey forced upon them and remove some of the financial burden from their shoulders so they can focus on getting the treatments to help Sam get healthy and beat this cancer! They would never ask for this help themselves, so we are asking for them.
Anything that you are willing to donate will be graciously accepted. We fully understand the current economic climate has affected many, so if you are not able to donate, all we ask is you share or forward this on to others that know the family.
