Quinn & Ally

Q and A is a journey of unraveling what love is at its purest form, as love isn’t linear nor does everyone have the same story towards finding that love. This film is structured in that half the story is told backwards and the other forwards, both simultaneously switching between until they eventually meet in the middle completing each other’s stories and creating their love story as they complete each other. Our character’s: a spontaneous Quinn and the conscious Ally are young lovers who’s relationship acts like a question and answer as not all questions have answers and not all answers have questions but when put together they complete each other, Quinn being the question and Ally being the answer.

Love in film nowadays has become too dramaticized and has lost its core concept of it which is the love between two individuals and that’s something I want to embody in this film, love at its most vulnerable state between a couple that despite their differences truly do love each other.

This is where we need your help! We are a team of young filmmakers wanting to make something to shake the industry, challenge ourselves as filmmakers and ultimately share this story of Q and A. I the writer of Q and A have worked on this script for 4 years waving and turning around the concept, constantly changing ideas but until I understood what love meant after losing love I finally found the courage to write this script and share it with you through the script.

So I ask please donate, all the proceeds will be used towards the film, travel and food especially as we’d like to film half of the film in france, something which would be a dream to do as the idea had originated from there.
