Hello, my name is Daniel. I’m starting this fundraiser in hopes to raise at least $10,000 for the Loges family who are very much in need. They have been in need for the last 4 years, and it all started when their youngest daughter of 3 children, Quinley, was diagnosed with a rare heart condition at birth (Truncus arteriosus hyperplasticity right side). Since day one, she has needed a heart transplant. With frequent trips to Children’s Hospital and long stays, both loving parents, Michael and Angel, lost their jobs several times because of limited availability as they care for their adorable Quinley. For the last two years, Quinley has been at the hospital on life support waiting for a heart, unable to go home. During this time, they have had to sell their home and do small fundraisers with friends and family just to get by.

The Amazing news is Quinley finally got the heart transplant on Saturday, September 27th. She will finally be able to live a normal life, make friends, play outside, and just be a kid! She is in recovery and doing well. It’s a very long and hard recovery as she still can’t leave the hospital for another couple of weeks as the heart gets acclimated to the new body. Lots of stress.

The bad news is their current home they have been renting has developed black mold in the walls and is unlivable, especially for Quinley and her severely weakened immune system. The landlord said he is probably going to sell the house since it will most likely be condemned soon. They have been staying at the hospital for the last couple of weeks as the hospital was kind enough to set up temporary living space for them. This won’t last forever as Quinley will be able to leave in the coming weeks, but without a place to call home.

I ask that you give what you can as I find a safe livable space for them. I’m asking for $10,000 as I want them to live without the stress of money so they can give Quinley the care she will need in the coming months.
