Quincy House Fire - Support Gardner Family

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to share with you all the news of the tragic house fire that happened this morning in North Quincy, where the Gardner family resides.
A proud mother to 6 and grandmother to 6, Marie Gardner was always selfless when it came to her family. She was a nurse of many years and has touched the lives of many with her brave, beautiful soul. Marie's youngest child, my best friend Rebecca, was home at the time of the incident and has consequently lost both her house and her mother.
Some of you may have the privilege of knowing Rebecca. However, if you don't, I can assure you that she is one of the good ones. A 2016 North Quincy High School graduate, Rebecca has an incredible ability to see the best in everyone she meets, and she is a friend to all.
Rebecca is safe and is currently staying with her brother, but I am saddened to say that my best friend has lost her home and mother all in one day. She has lost everything in result of the horrific house fire, along with many memories that were created in her home. Nobody should have to go through what Rebecca has been through, and finances should be the very last thing on her mind at this time, which is why I ask that we come together to assist her during these difficult times. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Gregory (Rebecca’s elder brother) will be withdrawing donations to help him and his family get back on their feet with housing, clothing, services and to cover any expenses going forward.
