Hi! We are Maria Biggs and Jacob Shelton and we are fundraising for our short film, Quiet Run. Making this film is a big undertaking, but it's a project we're extremely passionate about and we know creating this short will help us on our journey to create a hit series.
We're both experienced producers (see credits below) and know what it takes to bring stories to the screen. We're doing everything we can to keep costs down, but need to make sure we can pay for the equipment and talented crew we need to tell our story. Our budget will also help with making sure we can cover festival submissions and publicity for our film once it's complete.
The premise:
In the small southern town of Quiet Run, a beloved teenage girl has gone missing. Most of the town is convinced she ran away, but one of her classmates can’t shake the feeling that something sinister lurks in their sleepy town.
