Quids 4 Local Kids - Get the kids Sailing

Hi, It's Harry & Lowy here.

 

You may know us from the Potshot Hotel or who knows where! You definitely wouldn't have caught us at the barber's salon for a while!

 

We've been growing these lovely beards but as it's heating up here in ol' Exmouth Town we figure it's time for a bit of a shave and we're hoping you'll foot the bill! If you throw some coin our way (via GoFUNDme or our fundraiser on the 22nd January at the Potty) we'll have these luscious locks cut anyway you want us to all in the name of a good cause and a good laugh.

 

What is the good cause you might be asking ?

 

Well, we'd like to put it towards trying to give the kids here in Exmouth something fun to do, something to keep them active and off the streets. We all like the water up here and we're surrounded by the stuff so we were thinking of something on the water, and low and behold the Exmouth Yacht Club popped up.

 

The volunteer team at the EYC have really ramped up some courses and started to get the kids out on the water sailing in the Club's Optimist sailing boats but what they need now is another SAFETY BOAT so they can get more kids out there on the water at any one time .... and if you really dig deep hopefully they can get a few more sailing boats for older kids to join the action and for the kids to move onto once they've out grown the Opti's.

 

All funds from this GoFundMe campaign and our fundraiser at the Potshot Bar at 1230pm on Saturday the 22nd January will go to the Exmouth Yacht Club for purchase of an additional rescue boat and additional sailing boats suitable for kids.

 

Have a laugh at our expense and throw a few dollars towards a good cause to get more Exmouth Kids out on the water sailing with the Exmouth Yacht Club.
