For nearly two years, I’ve been dreaming up, writing down and planning out this dream-come-true of mine called “The Quester.” The intersection of my calling, gifts, and passion with the urgent need for children and parents to have a meaningful alternative to cheap, cotton candy content was the creative catalyst for The Quester — a children’s YouTube show that explores life’s biggest and most important questions in an engaging, kid friendly way. Questions of origins, identity, meaning, morality and destiny, all framed in a way that will keep children involved, thinking, and having fun!
We at the Quester believe that the stories which children are told are what shape how their stories unfold.
The stories that we give are what shape how children live.
And the stories that children believe largely determine what they will achieve.
Children are at the most formative stage of life and deserve to have something REAL and RELATABLE that will enrich them as they mature, and give them a compass as they navigate life.
Unlike many business ventures, we are not expecting to make any monetary profits from what we create. Our goal is simply to create free content that promotes truth, wisdom, and virtue as we seek to discover the narrative that makes sense of our existence. However, we are in need of funds to keep this quest going and growing.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of $3,621.16 for this upcoming year’s videos and Quester content! These funds will ensure we have the tools WE need to create the best content we can for YOUR kids. None of this money is going into our pockets. It’s going entirely to this project! They’ll cover filming supplies and props, creative production costs, Quester community promotional merchandise & advertising materials.
$300 for animation + graphic design
$350 for costumes & props
$400 for t-shirts
$450 for filming supplies
$500 for music production
$550 for travel (Planning to film in many different states and National parks)
$700 for promotional materials (Cards, stickers, balloons, pins and postage)
$371.16 miscellaneous expenses
We’re already so overwhelmed by your enthusiastic support and growth we’ve experienced in just these past three months since launching and we’re certain that with the continued support of you, our Quester Community, we will succeed in our goal to bring kids along on our quest to find the answers to all of life’s biggest questions!
