Once again, we are holding our Annual Fundraiser which will take place on 22nd December. This year we will be supporting two charities, Jon Egging Trust and Causeway.
Everyone is encouraged to get involved. Please feel free to share to friends and family. If you share to anyone outside of Quest, please make sure they put your name in the donation as well as their own, so we know who the contact person is.
Please remember to put your name with your donation so we can identify you.
Here's a little information about the two charities we are supporting:
Jon Egging Trust - https://joneggingtrust.enthuse.com/profile
We support vulnerable and under confident young people who are struggling to engage at school, working with them for up to three years to build aspiration, self-belief, and help them reengage with learning to reach their full potential. Through our long-term Blue Skies programmes, we focus on developing essential social and emotional learning skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication, empowering students to strive for positive futures.
Operating in partnership with schools across 12 counties of England and Wales, the Jon Egging Trust works with young people facing adversity and living below the poverty line. Our in-house youth team helps students develop confidence, self-worth, and employability skills, while exposure to world-class STEM environments and inspiring professional role models broadens their horizons and career aspirations.
We believe that potential is everywhere, but opportunity is not — and every young person deserves the chance to thrive, regardless of postcode or background.
Causeway - https://www.wearecauseway.org.uk/
Causeway is one of the UK's largest modern slavery support providers, specializing in survivor recovery. As a leading charity in modern slavery and crime reduction, its 200-strong team supports over 2,000 individuals annually, helping them recover from trauma and build safe, fulfilling futures. Causeway also drives national impact through research, advocacy, and partnerships.
Supporting vulnerable and marginalized people, including survivors of slavery and those in exploitation cycles, Causeway has been fostering change for over 10 years, reaching more than 2,000 individuals each year.
Their person cantered services include safe houses, outreach, crisis interventions, and pathways to counselling, training, and employment. Causeway raises awareness and promotes trauma-informed crime reduction by campaigning, partnering with stakeholders, and engaging in community fundraising.
