Quenton's Leukemia Recovery Fund

Dear Family & Friends of Quenton Burgo,

On Monday November 29th, 2021, my nephew Quenton "Q" had his 2 year annual check up and had blood drawn for labs. The following morning his mother Chinda (my sister) had received the call that her 2 year old son Quenton has Leukemia. After hearing this heartbreaking news, Q was quickly taken to Boston's Children Hospital where he underwent several tests to confirm the diagnosis. On Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, only a few days after his birthday celebration with his siblings; Ellington (3 years old) and Dani (3 months old), Q was officially diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He immediately began the process of chemotherapy treatment and has been hospitalized since.

Q is a strong fighter, and although this is the scariest news his or any parents would ever want to hear, we have hope that our brave Lil’ Q-Rex will overcome this battle. He is in the best hands and the prayers from his loved ones will keep him strong.

We would like to help Q and his family with financial support as he will have a long recovery ahead of him. Q has begun an intensive chemotherapy treatment for the next 6 months, with additional treatments and therapies planned over the next two years. Funds raised will go towards Q’s medical costs and supporting his family to be at his side during his treatments and recovery.
