Aloha. This is Carol Kwan. I wanted to let Quenna Johnson’s friends know that she was found dead in bed on Thursday, September 21, 2023, by her son, David (a.k.a. Max) Severino. After Max’s dad, Gregory Severino, passed away, Quenna got her estate documents done. She named me as Executor, so I flew to Las Vegas on 9/25 and have been working on end-of-life issues and helping David as much as I can.

Unfortunately, Quenna left more debt than assets, so we aren’t planning to hold a funeral or Celebration of Life, though Max has no objections if some of her friends want to get together to remember her in Hawaii. As those of us in Hawaii know, it’s customary to give a small monetary gift to the family at funerals, so I wanted to set up this GoFundMe for Max’s benefit in case anyone would like to give him something. He’s entirely on his own at 22 years old.

Max has been in contact with his dad’s family and plans to visit them and perhaps eventually move to Connecticut, but it will take time because he needs to wait for Quenna’s ashes to be available. Meanwhile, he’s looking for a place to live on his own here in Las Vegas.
