Help Annalise and Ezra with Living Expenses!

Hello!

Thank you for getting this far as to clicking on my GoFundMe. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read, and perhaps even donate. In short, my partner and I are in need of some immediate emergency funds to get us back onto our feet.

As some of you know, last year I transitioned to using they/them pronouns and identifying as non-binary/gender non-conforming. This year my lovely partner came out as trans-masculine non-binary and recently changed their name to Ezra Xavier Fox.

After we graduated from college we came back to live with my parents for awhile. This ended up being a very turbulent and emotionally unstable/unhealthy living environment for the both of us. I had grown a lot in college and was on my own healing process, one in which, until I came “home” after college, I didn’t realize would not be supported or validated by my parents.  

In March 2020 we had just saved up enough money to be finally able to move out. However, that is when Covid-19 quarantine restrictions began. A week later I was laid off from my job. Ezra and I were stuck quarantining in an emotionally and financially manipulative household.

In spring 2020, I became chronically ill with headaches consistently all day, everyday, even to this day. I have gone through many different doctors and test and currently have thousands of dollars of medical bills. This delayed our ability to move out, as our finances have gone to my health expenses.

Ezra and I finally were able to move out in September 2020 but it is still extremely difficult to pay rent and bills. The house we are in is temporary and we will have to leave by the end of July 2021. After which, we have no idea where we will go.

Ezra will be attending graduate school this fall, and came September will have somewhat of a stable income due to stipends and scholarships. But, as of right now both Ezra and I are unemployed, trying to figure out how to pay rent, and sign on to a lease that will start in August. 

Our car has broken down, and so finding a down either on the bus line or with a easy walking commute is essential but restricting when it comes to finding new employment, so anything would help get us through the summer and secure housing for the fall.
