A Queen's Discovery: Documentary

“A Queen’s Discovery: A Young Girl’s African Journey To Find Her Greatness Within”. The film follows this year’s LEAP mission and the perspective of 16-year-old Nzinga Anasa Braswell. Her journey was the first to the country of Africa and she gives a unique comparison between her black American experience as a youth and what she discovered in Africa.

As a result of Nzinga’s travel she has committed to raising funds for the Nikki Giovanni Scholarship Fund. The scholarship Provides financial assistance for qualified students to attend secondary school; Pays for tuition, boarding, travel, book, and other school related fees; Offers mentorship to motivate students to perform well in and out of the classroom as they explore their talents, interests and passions. Funds will be used for the  documentary of other related activities that will fund scholarship and future missions to Africa for youth.
