This young hen was discovered by a kind passerby walking her dog - she had been trapped under a sewer grate!

Thanks to the quick work of rescuers, neighbors, and the uniformed women of the local precinct, this little chickie is now safe

We have secured an excellent home at a nearby sanctuary for her, but now with Avian Flu ravaging the country, it’s extra challenging for sanctuaries to do intake for birds. Rescuers are covering the cost of his foster and transport, but we would like to raise a nice support donation to help the amazing people taking her in to give her a forever home! Of course those updates will be posted here as we have them, and proof of donation.
