Queens Faith Temple of SDA belongs to the worldwide church of Seventh Day Adventist (SDA).

We’re located in the heart of Queens at 217-03 Merrick Blvd, Laurelton, NY 11413.

History of Queens Faith Temple of SDA

It was the guiding light of the Holy Spirit and the vision of Pastor M.E. Patrick, English Ministry Coordinator of the Greater New York Conference of SDA, that led to the birth of Queens Faith Seventh Day Adventist Church. By working with the Holy Spirit, a small seed of faith was planted with seven members. In February of 1999, the first prayer meeting was held at the home of the Wellingtons. These meetings continued for five months, setting the pace for the New Millennium Prophecy Crusade.

The crusade climaxed with a grand candle lighting ceremony and the rejoicing of over 49 precious souls that were baptized. These precious souls formed the core of our church.

In 2001, the purchase of this location was made, which was an old garage. Each year, the membership of QFT SDA grows. At present, we have over 200 members. As a result, we have outgrown our church building.

Building Fund Committee

The building fund committee has allocated some of the funds through various fundraising projects and activities. These activities include concerts, domino tournaments, fundraising dinners, bake sales, and the purchase of building blocks.

The Goal of QFT Fundraiser

1. To raise funds towards the formation of a new church building at the current location

2. House more members

3. Serve and connect with the community through community outreach programs

4. Lead others to Christ

5. GED Classes for Adults

6. Immigration and Nutrition Classes

7. ESL and other remedial classes

8. Service children with Autism

9. Awareness Programs ( Health, Substance Abuse and Wellness Classes)

10. Vocational Home Economics

11. Public Relation Police Officers can Educate individuals on services that are available in the community
