Queen Leah's Celebration of Life

Hello, all. My name is Terrance Crowell and this is Rinlea "Leah" Justice, also affectionately known as Queen Leah.

This past Monday, 12 June 2023, our Queen gained her wings at the tender young age of 48.

We had made our engagement official in October of 2020. A month later she was placed in long term care after surviving a stroke one week before her favorite holiday.

December 19th, 2020 changed our lives forever.

We were told she'd be a vegetable in the first few weeks of hospitalization... but whose report do YOU believe?

We refused to accept it and she proved them wrong at every turn. We kept her spirits up and soon she was responding and aware of everything around her.

Though she was unable to use her limbs or her voice it didn't stop her from communicating with her loved ones. She learned how to use the Dynavox TOBII machine and used her eyes to type, which in turn spoke for her since she couldn't on her own.

She was able to watch videos, listen to music, message family members, call for help, and sell her jewelry from her hospital bed using just her eyes. Having this ability kept her in touch with family and friends which aided in her miraculous healing. She even prayed with and for staff members... even when she wasnt attended to properly. She was nothing short of amazing and we cherish every moment spent with her.

After 2.5 years of long term care, her pain and suffering has come to an end.

Although her insurance covered her medical expenses it does not cover her funeral expenses. Due to pre-existing conditions we were unable to get her the insurance she needed to cover this.

We, her loving family, are asking for donations to help cover these expenses so that she can be sent "home" with the dignity she deserves.

She was one that would help any and everyone any way that she could. It's our turn to do the same for her.
