 My name is Chaka and I am the owner of Queen Crafts. I started my business approx. 18 months ago.  My sole intent is to create jobs for my community.  Over the past 18 months, I have received a great outpouring of support from various places and people that I did not ever imagine would happen. Overall things had been going good until my daughter was injured badly and was almost amputated during the upswing of my startup business artery was severed and her knee was dislocated when she was getting out of a truck in November 2017. She had an artery bypass and needed 100% of my time and energy to nurse her back to health and my crafts business was put completely on hold. She is now walking but she is scheduled for another surgery to reposition her knee because it is still out of place. In the process, I have gotten overwhelmed with responsibilities and finances since she has been out of work for almost a year.  

 We are optimistic because things could have been worse but I could use some help with paying for advertising and acquire a fully functional website. My birthday and hers is approaching and there is nothing I want more than to keep my business rolling and to reach new customers.
