Dear friends and supporters,
Season 1 was an incredible journey, and we feel truly blessed to have been part of such an amazing project where representation was our ultimate goal. Unfortunately, due to funding limitations and the devastating impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, we were forced to temporarily shut down. But now, we are ready to come back stronger than ever and deliver the season you've all been eagerly waiting for, complete with major upgrades.
To make this happen, we are reaching out to you for support. Your generous donations will go directly towards crucial aspects of our production, including securing ideal locations, meeting the necessary Covid compliance requirements, and ensuring fair compensation for our talented cast and crew. Our cast members are hardworking actors, and paying them is our top priority. Additionally, your contributions will help cover production expenses such as camera and lighting equipment, as well as support our dedicated art department for props, hair, and makeup. We also need funds for effective marketing, including advertisements, website development, social media promotion, and captivating cast photoshoots. Finally, we require financial assistance for post-production tasks like editing, color grading, creating key art and posters, and submitting the series to film festivals.
By supporting us, you will not only help us bring the next season to life, but you will also create more job opportunities for LGBTQIA+ crew members in the film industry. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, and your contributions will play a significant role in achieving that.
Allow us to give you a glimpse into what lies ahead. Our series follows a group of lesbian friends navigating the complexities of love, dating, secrets, and betrayal while living in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. As K'wames' acting career takes off, her past catches up with her, leading to unexpected twists. Meanwhile, newly engaged Sam and Bisa find themselves questioning the very fabric of reality, and Jazz embraces the challenges of motherhood in her new family dynamic.
We are proud to introduce some exciting new cast members joining us this season. And yes, you've seen them before!
Let us take a moment to introduce Alexander King, the brilliant mind behind this series. Known as Lex, King is an American writer, director, and producer, she has made a mark with projects like QUEERious (2020) and Seven (2020). Lex created Queerious TV to provide a platform for authentic representation of queer stories of color, and now, through AlexanderKing Productions, she aims to create job opportunities for filmmakers of color.
Lex recently wrote, directed and co-produced Keep Me In Mind (2022) with Keke Palmer for Keke Palmer's KeyTV network.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Without your support, we would not be here today, ready to embark on this exciting new chapter.

We begin filming August 2023!
With love and gratitude,
The Queerious Family
