Desde el mes de octubre de 2021 nuestro padre viene presentando mareos, desvanecimientos, confusión, entumecimiento en las piernas, dificultad para caminar y otra serie de síntomas. En ese momento, su médico tratante le prescribió Betahistina y Flunarizina, con lo que mostró una mejoría importante.

Desafortunadamente los síntomas han vuelto y empeorado en las últimas semanas, lo que nos llevó a ponerle un Holter y realizarle estudios cardiológicos que arrojaron fallas graves en el funcionamiento de su corazón: síncope cardiogénico, bloqueo auriculoventricular, fibrilación auricular e hipertensión arterial.

Es por eso que requerimos hacerle una cirugía y ponerle un marcapasos cuanto antes, para devolverle la calidad de vida y evitar un accidente cardiovascular irremediable.

Mario, a sus 83 años, no tiene seguro médico y vive en Venezuela, donde el acceso a la salud es complejo y muy costoso, por lo que sus hijos nos hemos visto en la necesidad de hacer esta campaña para poderlo tratar a tiempo.
