Help Monica Fight Stage 3 Cervical Cancer and Be There for Her Daughter

Hello, my name is Monica, and I recently turned 26 years old. Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. The doctors say that with the right treatment, I can recover and get my life back.

I have a 5-year-old daughter who is my reason to fight every single day. In April 2025, doctors found an 8 cm malignant tumor. The first gynecologic oncologist I saw told me I only had six months to live and that treatment wouldn’t be worth it. But I refused to accept that. Now, as we approach November 2025, I’m still here — fighting with all my strength and hope.

Unfortunately, this battle has come with many hardships. My treatments are very expensive and not available in my hometown. Every week, I have to travel to one city for radiotherapy and another for chemotherapy. The travel and medical costs have been overwhelming. My parents and I have sold many of our belongings, and they’ve used up all their credit trying to help me continue my treatment.

I’m only a few months away from completing my therapy, but I’ve reached a point where we can’t keep up financially. I truly want to live — I want to see my daughter grow up, take her to kindergarten, and give her the life she deserves. Right now, she travels with me from hospital to hospital, and even though I’ve had the chance to enroll her in school, I can’t afford her uniform or school supplies. Many days, we barely have enough for food.

I also have two younger brothers who are still studying. My parents support them as well, even while they take care of me and accompany me to every treatment. They’re afraid of losing one of their daughters, and I understand that — but it breaks my heart to see them struggle so much.

My family has been my greatest support, my strength, and my hope.

Please, help me help them. Help me finish my treatment and keep fighting for my life and for my little girl.

Hola, soy Monica. Tengo 26 años recién cumplidos, y cancer cervicouterino etapa 3, los doctores dicen que con el tratamiento adecuando puedo recuperar mi vida.

Tengo una pequeña hija de 5 años por la cual luchar. En Abril 2025 me detectaron el tumor maligno de 8cm, la primera gineco-oncóloga que me revisó me dijo que me daban 6 meses de vida y que no valía la pena tomar tratamiento porque no sobreviviría. No me quedé con esa opinión y hoy casi noviembre 2025 sigo aquí, luchando y echándole muchas ganas.

He pasado por muchas carencias en este proceso puesto que los tratamientos que llevo son costosos y no se encuentran en la misma ciudad, debo viajar cada semana a tomar radioterapia en una ciudad, y quimioterapia en otra, los gastos son tantos que hemos vendido muchas pertenencias, mis papás han agotado sus créditos, y ya no encuentro la salida, estoy a meses de terminar mi tratamiento y necesito apoyo, yo quiero vivir, quiero ver a mi hija crecer, quiero poder llevarla al kinder, ese es mi mayor deseo en este momento ya que la tengo conmigo de un hospital a otro y aunque he tenido oportunidad de que asista a un kinder durante mis terapias, no tengo el dinero para los gastos de su uniforme o todo lo que solicitan porque a veces muy apenas y tenemos para comer.

Tengo 2 hermanos menores que yo, estudiando en el poblado donde vivo, mis papás también les envían dinero para sus gastos y me preocupa tanto que no se si están viviendo bien, comiendo bien, ya que mis papás no se me despegan porque ellos son los que me llevan a mis tratamientos, tienen miedo de perder a una de sus hijas y lo entiendo, pero me siento tan impotente a no poder ayudar a solventar gastos y quitarles esa preocupación.

Agradezco que ellos estén junto a mi apoyándome y no me suelten la mano, son mi apoyo y mi bastón, ayúdenme a ayudarlos por favor.
